BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL
OF PLANS, ELEVATIONS AND DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE
ALLOWING THE CONVERSION AND RENOVATION OF AN
EXISTING SCHOOL BUILDING TO OFFICES ON PROPERTY
KNOWN AS 51 E. CAMPBELL AVENUE IN A PD-H
(PLANNED DEVELOPMENT/HISTORIC OVERLAY) ZONING
DISTRICT (APPLICATION OF BABET FINANCIAL
CORPORATION, PD 82-09).
Plans, elevations, and development schedule for the conversion and renovation
of an existing school building into offices to be located on property known as
51 E. Campbell Avenue in a PD-H (Planned Development/Historic Overlay) Zoning
District have been presented for approval by Babet Financial Corporation.
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on said proposed
amendments, as filed in the Office of the Planning Department on December 16,
1982, and after presentation by the Planning nirector, proponents and opponents,
the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission did
find as follows:
That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the
proposed use will not be detrimental to the health, safety,
peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons
residing or working in the neighborhood of such use, or
detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in
the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Corrunission did recommend approval of
plans, elevations, development schedule, and conditions of approval as presented
and further recommends that the City Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto
as Exhibit "A", adopting said plans, elevations, development schedule and con-
ditions of approval for that portion of the above-mentioned Planned Development
Zone.
