RESOLUTION NO. 110n">
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING A LEASE WITH THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA
FOR THE CONTINUING USE OF 1.3 ACRES OF CAMPBELL PARK
LOCATED ON COUNTY-OWNED LAND
WHEREAS, the County of Santa Clara and the City of Campbell entered into a lease
agreement in September, 1959 to establish and maintain Campbell Park; and
WHEREAS, the lease is set to expire in September, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the City and the County have negotiated a new lease for continued use of
the County's 1.3 acres as part of Campbell Park; and
WHEREAS, the lease has been updated to reflect current County lease standards and
language, and incorporates Board-required provisions related to Integrated Pest
Management, Fire Prevention, and No-smoking policies and the changes have been
deemed to be reasonable and appropriate changes to the existing lease.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby approves the attached lease with the County of Santa Clara for the continuing
use of 1.3 acres of Campbell Park located on County-owned land.
