A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING THE
PUBLIC ART FOR THE ORCHARD CITY BANQUET HALL RENOVATION PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
AMENDMENT FOR PUBLIC ART
WHEREAS, Council approved the selection of Alber and Luna De Matteis as the public artists
for the Orchard City Banquet Hall Renovation Project; and
WHEREAS, the artists have developed an art concept called "Memory Landscape" that honors
the agricultural tradition of Campbell; and
WHEREAS, the Civic Improvement Commission has reviewed the artwork; and
WHEREAS, on July 21, 2009 the Council approved the inclusion of additional RDA funds to
complete the OCBH public artwork.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of does hereby
approve the public art for the Orchard City Banquet Hall Renovation Project and authorizes the
Public Works Director to execute a contract amendment for the public art fabrication and
installation.
