RESOLUTION NO. 11077
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING THE SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING CALL FOR BIDS -
COUNTDOWN PEDESTRIAN SIGNALS PROJECT (CIP NO.1 O-EE) AND
PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE IMPROVEMENTS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS
PROJECT (CIP NO. 10-BB), AND AUTHORIZING PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO
AWARD PROJECTS
WHEREAS, Caltrans had awarded $36,000 in federal HSIP grant to the City of
Campbell for the Countdown Pedestrian Signa.ls Project (CIP No. 10-EE); and
WHEREAS, the required ten percent local match of $3,600 will be provided through the
City's Construction Tax Reserve; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell was awarded $39,860 in TDA Article 3 Guaranteed
Funds for the Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements at Various Locations Project (CIP
No.10-BB).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby approves the project specifications
for the Countdown Pedestrian Signals Project (CIP No.1 O-EE) and the Pedestrian and
Bicycle Improvements at Various Locations Project (CIP No. 10-BB), and authorizes the
Public Works Director to solicit formal bids for both projects.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell authorizes
the Public Works Director to award each project to the lowest responsible bidder.
