RESOLUTION NO. 11079
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
FOR THE APPROVAL OF SPECIFICATIONS
AND CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF A SIGN TRUCK, WITH A
UTILITY BODY, APPROVED IN THE 09/10 BUDGET
WHEREAS, replacement of one (1) new 4x2 truck and utility body (sign truck) is funded
in the FY 2009/10 Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City of Campbell's Purchasing Policy if equipment's
estimated fair market value is greater than Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars, the formal
bid process has to be used; and
WHEREAS, staff is requesting the purchase of one (1), new 4x2 truck and utility body
not to exceed $35,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council approve specifications
and call for bids for one (1), new 4x2 truck and utility body not to exceed $35,000;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes the Public Works
Director to award the contract for this replacement vehicle.
