CC Ordinance 2123 Ordinance No. 2123 BEING AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AMENDING CAMPBELL MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 5.08.010 TO REMOVE HYPNOTISM FROM THE SUBSECTION DEALING WITH OCCULT SCIENCE WHEREAS, hypnosis is often used as, and generally accepted as form of therapy; and when properly used in this manner would not be considered an "occult science;" The City Council of the City of Campbell does ordain as follows: SECTION 1: Section 5.08.010 is hereby amended to read as follows: 5.08.010 Activities designated--Fees. No person shall conduct any of the following businesses and activities in the city without first securing a permit therefor from the city council on written application filed therefor with the city clerk, approved by the chief of police, the chief of the fire department, and the zoning officer of the city. The application shall comply with the requirements of Section 5.08.020.
