RESOLUTION NO. 11092
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
FOR LAND SURVEYING CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR THE POLLARD ROAD
BIKE LANE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Pollard Road Bike Lane Project (CIP NO.1 O-FF) involves the design and
construction of bike lanes/bike routes on both sides of Pollard Road/Knowles Drive from
Winchester Boulevard to Quito Road; and
WHEREAS, land surveying consultant services are needed for obtaining an accurate
survey of the existing topography and utility locations in the project corridor; and
WHEREAS, the preliminary cost estimate to survey the project corridor for the Pollard Road
Bike Lane Project was $10,100; and
WHEREAS, staff issued a Request for Proposals for land surveying consultant services and
received five proposals; and
WHEREAS, the five bids range from $16,800 to $22,900; and
WHEREAS, the City's Administrative Policy No. 03-35 requires the City Council to approve
the retention of a consultant if the cost of services is in excess of $15,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that the
Public Works Director is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the most qualified
respondent to the Request for Proposals for the Pollard Road Bike Lane Project (CIP No.
10-FF).
