BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AMENDING THE CAMPBELL FEE SCHEDULE TO ADD A FEE FOR THE
REGISTRATION OF STATE CERTIFIED MASSAGE THERAPISTS
WHEREAS, the City Council has voted to amend Chapter 5.48 of the Campbell
Municipal Code to require massage therapist to be certified pursuant to Chapter 10.5 of
Division 2 of the California Business and Professions Code;
WHEREAS, the certified massage therapists will be required to register with the City;
WHEREAS, the City will incur costs associated with the registration in an amount equal
to, or greater than fifty dollars ($50.00) per registrant;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that the City's Fee Schedule is amended by adding a fee in the amount of fifty
dollars ($50.00) for each person who registers as a certified massage therapist pursuant
to Campbell Municipal Code section 5.48.062.
