A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING THE GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS INVENTORY REPORT AND
DIRECTING STAFF TO DEVELOP A CLIMATE ACTION PLAN
WHEREAS, the greenhouse gas emissions inventory report has been completed
through a joint effort by ICLEI and City staff; and
WHEREAS, the report recommends a Five-Milestone process to significantly reduce
the City's greenhouse gas emissions from government operations, and
WHEREAS, City Council policy and past actions indicate the desire to reduce energy
consumption and help prevent global warming, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby approves the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory Report and directs staff to
develop a climate action plan.
