CC Resolution 11114 RESOLUTION NO. 11114 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL ACCEPTING ST ATE OF CALIFORNIA CITIZEINS' OPTION FOR PUBLIC SAFETY FUNDING AND APPROVING AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE 2009-2010 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell has adopted a budget for the 2009-2010 fiscal year; and, WHEREAS, additional revenue is available to the City from the State of California Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Fund; and, WHEREAS, the City has complied with the legal provisions required to receive this revenue. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that the City accept Citizens' Option for Public Safety Funding from the State of California in the amount of $100,000 as its FY 2009/2010 allocation; authorize a budget adjustment to deposit these funds into the existing Supplemental Law Enforcement Services account; authorize expenditures related to Community Services Officer salary and benefits; and direct the Police Department to submit a report to the Santa Clara County Supplemental Law Enforcement Oversight Committee.
