BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
RECOMMENDING THAT THERE BE NO CHANGES MADE AT
THIS TIME TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GEN-
ERAL PLAN FOR PORTIONS OF THE CITY KNOWN AS
DOWNTOWN (GP 82-04(D)).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed City-
initiated amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Plan to higher
residential densities for certain areas of that portion of the City known as
Downtown, and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and
opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission
does find as follows:
1. The majority of property owners in the affected residential
area do not wish densities to be increased.
The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a resolution recommending that
the City Council not increase the densities for the properties as shown
in Exhibit A.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of November, 1982 by the following roll
call vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Kasolas, Dickson, Howard, Kotowski,
Campos, Fairbanks, PQeyer
NOES: Commissioners: None
