BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING AMENDMENTS
TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FOR
CERTAIN AREAS OF THAT PORTION OF THE CITY KNOWN
AS SAN TOMAS. (GP 82-04(E))
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed
City-initiated amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Plan
for certain areas of that portion of the City known as San Tomas, and
after presentation by the Planning Directors, proponents and opponents,
the hearing was closed (f;P 82-04(E)).
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning
Commission does find as follows:
1. The proposed land uses would be compatible with the
existing development of the areas.
2. The proposed changes are in the best interest of
the City of Campbell.
The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a resolution recommending
that the City Council adopt the ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit A
making effective the proposed amendments.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of November, 1982 by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Dickson, Kotowski, Fairbanks, Campos
NOES: Commissioners: Kasolas, Howard, Meyer
ABSENT: Commissioners: None
