PLANNING COMMISSION
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING
AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
FROM "COMMERCIAL" TO "PUBLIC, SEMI-PUBLIC" FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED ALONG ALONG LOS GATOS CREEK BETWEEN CAMPBELL AVENUE AND
HIGHWAY 17 IN A PD (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) ZONING DISTRICT .

After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed City
initiated amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Plain from "Commercial"
to "Public, Semi-Public" for property located along Los Gatos Creek between
Campbell Avenue and Highway 17, and after presentation by the Plarming Director
proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission does
find as follows:
1. The proposed public, semi-public land use would be compatible
with the existing development.
2. The proposed changes are in the best interest of the City of Campbell.
The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a Resolution recammerlding that the
City Council adopt the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effec-
tive the proposed amendments.
