A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ACCEPTING THE IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED BY GREATER BAY
CONSTRUCTION FOR SALMAR SIDEWALK/RESURFACING PROJECT (05-03),
DIRECT THE FILING OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION AND DIRECT THE FILING
OF
NOTICES OF IMPROVEMENT OBLIGATION
WHEREAS, the Salmar Avenue Sidewalk/Resurfacing Project was included in the City's
adopted Fiscal Year 2004/05 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP); and
WHEREAS, the Hamilton/Salmar Overlay project did not complete the portion of Salmar
Ave. adjacent to the 430 Salmar Ave. development to allow for their proposed utility
installations; and
WHEREAS, on February 19, 2008, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 10871
authorizing the Public Works Director to negotiate and execute a reimbursement
agreement with Greater Bay Construction, the contractor completing the improvements
for the 430 Salmar Avenue development, to include sidewalk and paving improvements
for the Salmar Sidewalk/Resurfacing Project (05-03); and
WHEREAS, Greater Bay Construction has completed the contract in accordance with
the contract documents; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer requests the Notices of Improvement Obligation be filed
for all of the properties where new improvements were installed on this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby accepts the improvements constructed by Greater Bay Construction for the
Salmar Sidewalk/Resurfacing Project (05-03), directs the filing of the Notice of
Completion and directs the filing of the Notices of Improvement Obligation.
