BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL REAFFIRMING PLANNING
COMMISSION RESOLUTION NOS. 2012 & 2043 WHICH
RECOMMENDED AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE
ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FOR PROPERTY
KNOWN AS 690 S. SAN TOMAS AQUINO ROAD
(GP 81-11).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed
City-initiated amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Plan from
P-F (Public Facilities) to R-1 (Low Density Residential) for property known
as 690 S. San Tomas Aquino Road, and after presentation by the Planning
Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning
Commission does find as follows:
1. The proposed low density residential land use would be
compatible with the existing development.
2. The proposed change is in the best interest of the City
of Campbell.
3. The Commission reaffirms its previous recommendations
included in Resolution Nos. 2012 and 2043, recommending
that the General Plan and Zoning Map be amended to
R-1 (Single Family Residential/Low Density Residential)
for the subject property.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of January, 1982 by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Kasolas, Dickson, Howard, Kotowski,
Campos, Fairbanks, Meyer
NOES: Commissioners: None
ABSENT: Commissioners: None
