PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMP~IISSION OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN
AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 522 OF THE CAMPBELL
MUNICIPAL CODE TO REQUIRE.A USE PER~9IT FOR ALL
NEW LIQUOR ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE ROLLING HILLS
SHOPPING CENTER ON PROPERTY KNOWN AS 1225-1451
W HACIENDA AVENUE (ZC 65-20).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed
amendments to Ordinances of the City of Campbell and after presentation
by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the Planning Commission
did determine that the following amendment should be made to the previously
approved zone change which adopted plans, elevations, and development
schedule and conditions of approval for the shopping center located at
1225-1451 W. Hacienda Avenue (Rolling Hills Shopping Center) (ZC 65-20):
1. That a condition be added to Ordinance No. 522 of the
Campbell Municipal Code requiring approval of a Use
Permit for any new liquor establishment at the
shopping center.
2. The proposed amendment will not be detrimental to the
health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare
of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of
such amendment or be detrimental or injurious to property
and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare
of the City.
3. The proposed amendment to Ordinance No. 522 is consistent
with the P-D (Planned Development/Neighborhood Commercial)
Zoning District.
The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City
Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit A making effective
the recommended changes to Ordinance No. 522 of the Campbell Municipal
Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of September, 1981 by the following
roll call vote:
