PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION N0. 2038
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the
application of Ms. Patricia McQuade fora use permit to allow the rental
of sailboats (windsurfers) and lessons on property known as Los Gatos
Creek Park in a PF/OS (Public Facilities/Open Space) Zoning District,
as per the application filed in the office of the Planning Department
on July 2, 1981, and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents,
and opponents, the hearing was closed (UP 81-12).
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Commission
did find as follows:
That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the
proposed use will not be detrimental to the health, safety,
peace, morals, comfort, or general welfare of persons residing
or working in the neighborhood of such use, or be detrimental
or injurious to the property and improvements in the neighborhood
or the general welfare of the City.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission does hereby
grant the requested use permit subject to the following conditions:
1. Windsurfing operation to be reviewed in October 1981.
Upon evaluation of the operation, the Planning
Commission and Park and Recreation Commission
may impose any additional conditions which are
deemed necessary.
2. Windsurfing shall be limited to the most northerly
percolation pond.
The applicant is notified that she shall comply with all applicable
Codes or Ordinances of the City of Campbell which pertain to this develop-
ment and are not herein specified.

roll call vote:
