BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
RECOMMENDING AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT
OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM PUBLIC, SEMI-PUBLIC
TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (LESS THAN 6 UNITS
PER GROSS ACRE) FOR PROPERTY KNOWN AS 690 S
SAN TOMAS AQUINO ROAD (GP 81-06).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed
City-initiated amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Plan
from Public, Semi-Public to Low Density Residential for property known
as 690 S. San Tomas Aquino Road, and after presentation by the Planning
Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission
did find as follows:
1. The proposed low density residential land use would be
compatible with the existing development.
2. The proposed changes are in the best interest of the
City of Campbell.
The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a resolution recommending that
the City Council adopt the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit A making
effective the proposed amendments.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of June, 1981 by the follovaing roll call
vote:
