BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
ELEVATIONS, DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS OF
APPROVAL TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF TWO SINGLE-FAMILY
DWELLINGS AT 1160 STEINWAY AVENUE IN A P-D (PLANNED
DEVELOPMENTJSINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING
DISTRICT. (APPLICATION OF MR. ERIK CRULL ON BEHALF
OF THE KIMO CORPORATION, ZC 81-10.)
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the
application of Mr. Erik Crull on behalf of the Kimo Corporation for
approval of plans, elevations, development schedule and conditions
of approval for the construction of two additional single-family
dwellings on property located at 1160 Steinway Avenue, as per the
application filed in the Office of the Planning Department, 75 N.
Central Avenue, Campbell, California on February 18, 1981 and
after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents,
the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the Planning
Commission did find as follows:
1. That the proposed construction of two additional single-
family dwellings would be compatible with the existing
uses in the immediate area and would be compatible with
the Land Use Element of the General Plan which indicates
"Low Density Residential".
2. This development is similar to recent approvals for zone
changes to P-D for residential developments.
3. The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the
health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare
of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of
such zone change, or be detrimental or injurious to
property and improvements in the neighborhood or the
general welfare of the City.
The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the
City Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making
effective the recommended zone change.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of P•larch, 1981 by the following
roll call vote:
