PC Res 1972RESOLUTION N0. 1972 CITY OF CAMPBELL PLANNING COMMISSION After reconsideration of UP 80-5, referred to the Planning Commission by the City Council, regarding the application of Mr. John Carvalho for revised plans to construct a townhouse development on property known as 1075 Hacienda Avenue in an Interim (Low-Medium Density Residential) Zonig District, as per the application filed in the Office of the Planning Department on February 12, 1980 and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the Commission did find as follows: 1. The Planning Commission is of the opinion that this project is located in an area designated by the City Council where larger lot sizes and lower densities are encouraged and the development as proposed would be in conflict with this policy. 2. That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the proposed use will be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such use, and will be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission does hereby deny the requested use permit.
