PC Res 1959RESOLUTION NO. 1959 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF PLANS, ELEVATIONS, DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF 12 TOWNHOP~9ES AT 205 AND 215 SHELLEY AVENUE IN A P-D (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT/L04J-PIEDIUPI DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING DISTRICT. (APPLICATION OF SERRA-PACIFIC, INC., ZC 80-14) After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application of Serra-Pacific, Inc. for approval of plans, elevations, development schedule and conditions of approval for 12 town homes on property located at 205 & 215 Shelley Avenue, as per the application filed in the Office of the Planning Department, 75 N. Central Avenue, Campbell, California on October 31, 1980 and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing eras closed. After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the Planning Commission did find as follows: 1. That the proposed construction of 12 town homes would be compatible with the existing uses in the immediate area and would be compatible with the Land Use Element of the General Plan which indicates "Low- Medium Density Residential". 2. This development is similar to recent approvals for zone changes to P-D for townhome developments. 3. The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such zone change, or be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective the recommended zone change.
