PC Res 1945RESOLUTION N0. 1945 CITY OF CAMPBELL PLANNING COMMISSION BEING a Policy Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Campbell regulating the redevelopment of properties on which an existing residential structure is proposed to remain. WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Planning Commission that the number of applications in which an existing residential building is being included as part of a development plan is increasing; and WHEREAS, the inclusion of an existing residential building as part of a new development plan may create an apparent increase in density for the proposed new residential development on the property. NOM, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Campbell hereby adopts the following policy for regulating the redevelopment of properties on which an existing residential structure is proposed to remain as part of the new site plan. 1. The existing residential structures may be included as part of the proposed condominium/townhouse development, however a minimum of 6,000 square feet of land area shall be allocated to the existing structure. 2. The balance of the property may be considered for develop- ment at the density allowed by the Zoning Ordinance and/or Land Use Element of the General Plan.
