PC Res 1944RESOLUTION N0. 1944 CITY OF CAMPBELL PLANNING COMMISSION BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF PLANS, ELEVATIONS, DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF 18 CONDOMINIUMS AT 252 AND 268 W. RINCON AVENUE IN A P-D (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT/MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING DISTRICT. APPLICATION OF MR. BOB SCHWENKE ON BEHALF OF WOODGATE DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, ZC 80-12. After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application of Mr. Bob Schwenke on behalf of Woodgate Development Company for approval of plans, elevations, development schedule and conditions of approval for 18 condominiums on property known as 252 and 268 W. Rincon Avenue, as per the application filed in the office of the Planning Department, 75 North Central Avenue, Campbell, California on September 25, 1980 and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents, and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the Planning Commission did find as follows: 1. That the proposed construction of 18 condominiums would be compatible with the existing uses in the immediate area and would be compatible with the Land Use Element of the General Plan which indicates "Medium Density Residential". 2. This development is similar to recent approvals for zone changes to P-D for condominium developments. 3. The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such zone change, or be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective the recommended zone change.
