(RPPLICATION OF {~1R. C. LESTER l-JYfIAPI ON BEHALF OF INVESTORS CHOICE, ZC 80-11). After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application of fair. C. Lester <+Jyman on behalf of Investors Choice for approval of plans, ele- vations, development schedule and conditions of approval for 6 tovanhomes on property known as 196 Shelley Avenue, as per application filed in the Office of the Planning Department on September 5, 1980 and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing t•ias closed. After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the Planning Commission did find as follovas: 1. That the proposed construction of 6 tovanhomes would be compatible with the existing uses in the immediate area and would be compatible v~ith the Land Use Element of the General Plan which indicates "Lovi- f1edium Density P.esidential". 2. This development is similar to recent approvals for zone changes to P-D for townhouse developments. 3. The proposed zone change tivill not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general aielfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such zone change, or be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective the recommended zone change.
