PC Res 1940PLANNING COMh1ISSI0N RESOLUTION N0. 1940 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COh1MISSIOPI OF THE CITY OF CAD1PBELL RECOMf~1ENDIfdG APPROVAL OF~ A CHANGE TO THE ZONING P1AP AS SH01dP1 IN EXHIBIT "A" (APPLICATION OF MR. C. LESTER LJYh1AN ON BEHALF OF INVESTORS CHOICE, ZC 80-11). After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the proposed amendments to the Zoning P1ap of the City of Campbell and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the Planning Commission did determine that the change as shown in Exhibit "A", attached, should be made to the Zoning Map based on the following findings: 1. The proposed zone change is consistent with the Land Use Element of the General Plan which shows "f~1ultiple Family Residential/Low-Pledium Density" for the subject property of 196 Shelley Avenue. 2. The proposed zone change from R-P1 to P-D would allow the development of 6 town homes. 3. The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such zone change or be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective the recommended changes to the Zoning P~1ap.
