RESOLUTION N0. 1932
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING
AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM
"COMMERCIAL" TO "COMMERCIAL AND/OR MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL"
FOR PROPERTY KNOWN AS 1820 AND 1840 SOUTH WINCHESTER BOULEVARD
(GP 80-11, APPLICATION OF MR. CHARLES ROSE)
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application
of Mr. Charles Rose for an amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan
from "Commercial" to "Commercial and/or Medium Density Residential" for property
known as 1820 and 1840 South Winchester Boulevard, and after presentation by
the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission
does find as follows:
1. The proposed Commercial and/or Medium Density Residential land use
would be compatible with the existing development.
2. The proposed change is in the best interest of the city of
Campbell.
The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a Resolution recommending
that the City Council adopt the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit A
making effective the proposed amendment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of September 1980 by the
following roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Pack, Dickson, Meyer., Kasolas, Kotowski,
Fairbanks, Campos
NOES: Commissioners: None
ABSENT: Commissioners: None
