After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application
of-the City of Campbell, for a use permit for uses which are compatible with
the semi-public character of the P-F (Public Facilities) Zoning. District for
the San Tomas School site, 1510 W. Hacienda Avenue, as per application filed
in the Office of the Planning Department on July 28, 1980, and after presentation
by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed (UP 80-19).
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Commission did find as
follows:
That~the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the proposed
use will not be detrimental to the, health, safety, peace, morals,
comfort, or general welfare of the p~rs,ons residing or working in the
neighborhood of such use, or be~det~rimental or injurious to the property
.and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City.
Based- on the above findings, the Planning Commission does hereby recommend
approval of the requested use permit subject to the~following.determined
compatibilities with the semi-public character, of the P-F (Public Facilities)
Zoning District:
1. Private Schools.
2. Arts and Crafts Associations. '
3. Theater Groups. ~'
4. Professional Offices.
5. Private Clubs.
6. Service Organizations (such as Kiwanis, Rotary,, etc.).
7. Other uses which the Planning Commission determines to be
compatible with the semi-public character of the district.
The applicant is notified as part of this application .that he is required to
meet the following conditions irr accordance with Ordinances of the City of
Campbell and-Laws of the State of California.
A. Prior to occupancy, tenant shall receive clearance from the
Building, Fire, and Planning Departments.
The applicant is notified that he shall comply with all~appl_icable Codes or
Ordinances of the City.of Campbell which pertain to this development and
are not herein specified.
