PC Res 1921RESOLUTION N0. 1921 After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application of the City of Campbell fora use permit for uses which are compatible with the semi-public character of the P-F (Public Facilities) Zoning District for the Campbell High School site, One West Campbell Avenue, as per application filed in the Office of the Planning Department on July 28, 1980, and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed (UP 80-18). After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Commission did find as follows: That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the proposed use will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort, or general welfare of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such use, or be detrimental or injurious to the property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission does hereby grant the requested use permit subject to the following determined compatibilities with the semi-public character of the P-F (Public Facilities) Zoning District: 1. Private Schools. 2. Arts and Crafts Associations. 3. Theater Groups. 4. Professional Offices. 5. Private Clubs. 6. Service Organizations (such as Kiwanis, Rotary, etc.). 7. Other uses which the Planning Commission determines to be compatible with the semi-public character of the district. Change of occupancy uses not permitted in the Campbell High School site are as follows: (Section 502 U.B.C.) Group I Occupancies. Section 902 1. Nurseries for full time care of children under kindergarten age. 2. Hospitals, sanitariums, nursing homes, or any 24 hour care facility. 3. Mental patient homes, reformatories, houses of correction. Group H Occupancies. Section 1002 1. Storage of flammable or explosive materials. 2. Paint storage, paint spraying, paint shops. 3. Woodworking shops, auto repair and storage, buffing rooms; no loose or combustible fibers can be handled. Group R Occupancies. Section 1302 1. No live-in quarters such as hotels, apartments, convents, monasteries and lodging houses.
