(APFLICATIOn! OF 'MR. ROG~EKT GU!1RI~.S OrJ BEHALF OF SHELLEY ASSO~TATES, ~C 80-7.j After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application of Dlr. Robert R. Gurries on behalf of Shelley Associates for approval of plans, elevations, development schedule and conditions of approval for 12 townhomes on property located at 185 Shelley Avenue, as per application filed in the Office of the Planning Department, 75 N. Central Avenue, Campbell, California on June 18, 1980 and after presentation by t~`?~ P?ar:ning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the Planning Commission did find as follows: 1. That the proposed constructior~ of 12 townhomes would be compatible with the existing uses in the ir~irnediate area and would be compatible with the Land Use Element of the raeneral Plan which indicates "Low- Medium Density Residential". 2. This development is similar to recent approvals for zone changes to P-D for townhouse developments. 3. The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such zone change, or be detrimental or injurious to property ar~d improvements in the neighborhood or the general weli'are of ~~he City. The Planning Commission of the City of Camp5e11 recommends that the City Council -_ enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective the recommended zone change.
