BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANPlING COh1P4ISSI0N OF
THE CITY OF CA~~PBELL RECOPIP1ENDING APPROVAL OF A
CHANGE TO THE ZONING P1AP AS SH06JN IN EXHIBIT "A"
(APPLICATION OF P•1R. ROBERT GURRIES, ON BEHALF OF
SHELLEY ASSOCIATES, ZC 80-7).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the proposed
amendments to the Zoning P1ap of the City of Campbell and after presentation by
the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the Planning Commission did
determine that the change as shown in Exhibit "A", attached, should be made
to the Zoning h1ap based on the following findings:
1. The proposed zone change is consistent with the Land Use
Element of the Ge neral Plan wh?ch shows "Low-~~tedium Density
Residential" for the subject property.
2. The proposed zone change from R-M to P-D would allow the
development of 12 townhomes.
3. The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the
health, safety, p eace, morals, comfort or general welfare
of the persons re siding or working in the neighborhood of
such zone change or be detrimental or injurious to property
and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare
of the City.
4. The proposed zone change is consistent with the Land Use
Element.
The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City
Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective
the recommended changes to tine Zoning Map.
