BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL
OF PLANS, ELEVATIONS AND DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE
AND CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION
OF 7 PATIO HOMES AT 599 EL PATIO DRIVE IN A P-D
(PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) ZONING DISTRICT. (APPLICATION
OF MR. CARL FRANKLIN, ZC 79-6.)
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on th application
of Mr. Carl Franklin for approval of plans. elevations and development
schedule and conditions of approval o.' ~+~-.;;~ °omes o~~ pror;ert located at
599 El Patio Drive, as per the application f?ed in the O'fice f the Planning
Department, 75 N. Central Avenue, Campbell, California on Septe ber 10, 1979
and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the
hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the Planning Commission
did find as follows:
1. That the proposed construction of 7 patio homes would e
compatible with the existing uses in the immediate are
and would be compatible with the Land Use Element of t e
General Plan which indicates "Low Density Residential"
2. This development is similar to recent approvals for zone
changes to P-D for residen',;ial developments.
3. The proposed zc;ne change wi11 not be detrimental to th
health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general weif re
of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of
such zone change, or be detrimental or injurious to pr perty
and improvements in the neighborhood or the general a;e fare
of the City.
The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City
Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" maki g effective
the recommended zone change.
PASSED APJD ADOPTED this 20th day of May, 1980 by the following
vote:
