SMITH, ZC 80-3.)
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application
of Mr. Barry Smith for approval of plans, elevations, development schedule
and conditions of approval for 8 townhomes on property located at 1383 l~l.
Campbell Avenue, as per the application fi-led in the Office of the Planning
Department, 75 N. Central Avenue, Campbell, California on April 10, 1980
and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents,
the hearing was closed.
P,fter due consideration of all the evicence presented, the Planning
Commission did find as follows:.
1. That the proposed construction of 8 townhomes would be
compatible with the existing uses in the immediate area
and would be compa~ible with the Land Use Element of the
General Plan which indicates "Medium•Density Residential.

3. 'fhe proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the
health, safety, peace, morals,. comfort or general welfare
of the persons residing or working in the .neighborhood of
such zone change, or be detrimental or injurious to
property and improvemen~s ir; the neighborhood or the
general welfare of the C~t.y.
The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City
Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective
the recommended zone change.
