BEING A RESOLUTIOPJ OF THE PLANNIPJG COP•1PIISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAPIPBELL RECOMP1ENDING APPROVAL
OF A CHANGE TO THE ZONING h1AP AS SHObJN IN
EXHIBIT "A" (APPLICATION OF MR. BARRY SMITH,
ZC 80-3).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the proposed
amendments to the Zoning Map of the City of Campbell and after presentation
by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the Planning Commission
did determine that the change as s.",own in Exhibit "A", attached, should be
made to the Zoning ~1ap based on the following findings:
1. The proposed zone change is consistent with the Land Use
Element of the General Plan which shows "Medium Density
Residential" for the subject property.
2. The proposed zone change from R-2-S to P-D would allow
the development of 8 townhomes.
3. The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the
health, safety, peace, morals.,-comfort or general welfare
of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood
of such zone change or be detrimental or injur~°ious to
property and improvements i•n the neighborhood or the
general welfare of the City.
4. The proposed zone change is consistent with the Housing
Element.
The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City
Coururil enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective
the recommended changes to the Zoning Map.

vote:
