PC Res 1866RESOLUTION NO. 1866 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM PUBLIC, SEMI-PUBLIC TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR PROPERTIES KNOWN AS 1536, 1540, & 1540 MCCOY AVENUE (GP 80-8) . After notificatior! and public hearing as specified by law on proposed City- initiated amendments to the Land t7se Element of the General Plan from Public, Semi-Public to Low Density Residential for properties known as 1536, 1540, & 1548 McCoy Avenue, and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of a'.l evidence presented, the Planning Commission does find as follows: 1. The proposed Low Density Residential land use would be compatible with the existing development. 2. The proposed changes are in the best interest of the City of CampbeJ_1. The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a resolution recommending that the City Council adopt the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective the proposed amendments.
