BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO
THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM
COMMERCIAL TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR
PROPERTY KNOWN AS 64 N. HARRISON AVENUE (GP 80-3).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed
application of H. H. Saber-Motamedi for an amendment to the Land Use Element
of the General Plan from "Commercial" to "High Density Residential" for
property known as 64 N. Harrison Avenue, and after presentation by the
Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideratior:~?f a?1 evide-.roe ^resented, the Planning
Commission does find as fol?cw~~s:
1. The proposed High Density Residential lane use would not
be compatible with the existing development of the area.
2. The proposed changes are not in the best interest of the
City of Campbell.
3. The proposed use would be impacted by surrounding traffic
and noise problems.
The Plannin~~ Commission does hereby adapt a resolution recommending
that the City Co~~ncil deny this application.
PASSEC AND ADOPTED this 15th day of January 1980 by the following
roll call vote:
