BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL
OF A CHANGE TO THE ZONING MAP AS SHOWN IN
EXHIBIT "A" (APPLICA.TION OF SMJ LAND CO.,
ZC 79- 6) .
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the proposed
amendments to the Zoning Map of the City of Campbell and after presentation by
the Planning Director, proponents, and opponents, the Planning Commission did
determine that the change as shovrn in Exhibit "A", attached, should be made to
the Zoning Map based on the fol l owl n ~ fi r~ d i r,g:~
1. The proposed zone change is consistent with the Land Use
Element of the General Plan which shows ""Planned Development/
Low Density Residential" for the subject property.
2. The proposed zone change from R-1 to P-D would allow the
development of 7 patio homes.
3. The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the health,
safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons
residing or working in the neighborhood of such zone change or
be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the
neighborhood or the general welfare of the City.
4. The proposed zone change is consistent with the Housing Element of
the General Plan.
The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City
Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective
the recommended changes to the Zoning Map.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of November, 1979, by the following
roll call vote:
