After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the
application of Mr. Leonard Almalech on behalf of Elco Leasing for a use
permit and approval to allow an automobile rental company to be located
on property known as 2521 S. 4~inchester E;oulevard in a C-2-S (General
Commercial) Zoning District, as per application filed in the Office of
the Planning Department on October 11, 1979, and after presentation by
the Planning Director, proponents, and opponents, the hearing was closed
(UP 79-29).
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Commission
did find as follows:
That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the proposed
use will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals,
comfort, or general welfare of persons rPSid~ng or working in the
neighborhood of such use, or be detrimental or• injurious to the
property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare
of the City.
Based on the above findings} '.:hn Planning Commission does hereby grant
the requested use permit, subject t;~ f:i~ec *i~l 1 owl ng conditions
1. Total number of cars ava.ilablE ~:'gall not exceed fifteen
(15). Dental of ~-~ore than fift.;en (15) vehicles from
this site shall require approval of a ne~a~ use permit.
2. There Thal i be no truck or tra~i~:er rentals,
3. Applicant sha17 obtain City apl~•3~~~?val for• any signs.
4. Staff to report on arty and a~i1 n~ oblem which might
exist with development in 180 days.
The applicant is notified as part of this application that he is
required to meet 'the following conditions in accordance with Ordinances
of the City of Campbell and Laws of the State of California.
The applicant is notified th~:t he shall co;rply with all applicable
Codes or Ordinances of the C1ty of Campbel'! veh~ich pertain to this development
and are not herein specified.
