PC Res 1836RESOLUTION N0. 1836
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL
OF A PROPOSED PREZONING AS SHOWN IN EXHIBIT "A"
(APPLICATION OF MR. GARY E. STOKES & CAL-COM
LEASING & DEVELOPMENT COMPANY. PD 79-11).
(MORGA ANNEXATION WHITEOAKS 1979-3)
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application
of Mr. Gary E. Stokes and Cal-Com Leasing and Development Company (PD 79-11)
for approval of plans, elevations and development schedule to allow con-
struction of 12 townhomes on property known as 60 and 74 Redding Road, and
after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the
Planning Commission did determine that the subject property should be pre-
zoned P-D (Planned Development) based on the following findings:
1. The proposed zone change to P-D is consistent with the Land
Use Element of the General Plan which shows "Low-Medium
Density Residential" for the subject property.
2. The proposed prezoning of P-D (Planned Development) would
allow the development of 12 townhomes.
3. The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the health,
safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons
residing or working in the neighborhood of such zone change or
be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the
neighborhood or the general welfare of the City.
4. The proposed zone change is consistent with the Land Use
Element.
The Planning Commission o the City of Campbell recommends that the City
Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective
the recommended changed to the Zoning Map.
