BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL
OF A CHANGE TO THE ZONING MAP AS SHOWN IN
EXHIBIT "A " (APPLICATION OF MS. KATHLEEN E.
QUINN AND DAMON DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, UP 79-24).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on-the application
of Ms. Kathleen Quinn and Damon Development Company, Inc., for a Use Permit
(UP 79-24) and approval of plans to allow construction of a 13-unit townhouse-
type development and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents
and. opponents, the Planning Commission did determine that the change as shown
in Exhibit "A", attached, should be made to the Zoning Map based on the
following findings:
1. The proposed zone change i s cons i ster;'~ with t!-sP +,~and Use
Element of the General Plan which shows "Low De;~sity
Residential" for the subject property.
2. The proposed zone change from Interim (Low Density
Residential) to P-D (Planned Development) would allow
the development of 13 townhouse units.
3. The property is presently zcned Interim, and when the
Interim Zoning is lifted, a P-D (Planned Development)
Zoning District would be most appropriate to replace it.
4. The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the
health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare
of such zone change or be detrimental or injurious to
property and improvements in the neighborhood or the
general welfare of the city.
5. The proposed zone change is consistent with the Land Use
Element.
The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City
Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective
the recommended changes to the Zoning Map.
