BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING
DENIAL OF PRC,POSED AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF
THE GENERAL PLAN FROM ''LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" TO "LOW-
MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" FOR PROPERTY KNOWN AS 1231 W.
HACIENDA AVENUE IN AN INTERN; ZONTNG DISTRICT. (GP 79-5)
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed
amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Plan from "Low Density
Residential" to "Low-Medium Density Residential" for property known as
1231 W. Hacienda Avenue, and after presentation by the Planning Director,
proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning
Commission does find as follows:
1. The proposed "Low-Medium Density Residential" land use
would not be compatible with the existing development.
2. The proposed changes are not in the best interest of the
City of Campbell.
The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a Resolution recommending
that the City Council deny the proposed amendments to the Land Use Element
of the General Plan from "Low Density Residential" to "Low-Medium Density
Residential" for property known as 1231 W. Hacienda Avenue.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of September, 1979, by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners Dickson, Camraos, Pack, Samuelson
