BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING THAT 0-S
(OPEN SPACE) ZONING NOT BE APPLIED TO PROPERTY
KNOWN AS 51 EAST CAMPBELL AVENUE (OLD CAMPBELL
GRAMMAR SCHOOL) AT THIS TIME. (APPLICATION OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL, ZC 79-5).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed
amendments to the Zoning Map of the City of Campbell and after presentation
by the Planning Director, proponents, and opponents, the Planning Commission
did determine that the change as shown in Exhibit "A", attached, should not
be made to the Zoning Map based on the following findings:
1. The basic land use for the site has not been resolved
at this time.
2. The Planning Commission has set the date of September 18, 1979,
as the date of a new public hearing to consider land use alter-
natives for the site.
The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the
City Council not amend the zoning map to include the subject property in
the 0-S (Open ace) Zoning District at this time.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of August, 1979, by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Dickson, Campos, Pack, Vierhus, Kasolas,
Samuelson
NOES: Commissioners: None
ABSENT: Commissioners: Meyer
