BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO
THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM
LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO LOW-MEDIUM DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL FOR PROPERTY KNOWN AS 599 EL PATIO
DRIVE (GP 79-1).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed
City initiated amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Plan from
"low density residential" to "low-medium density residential" for property
known as 599 E1 Patio Drive, and after presentation by the Planning Director,
proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission
does find as follows:
1. The proposed "low-medium density residential" land use would
not be compatible with the surrounding area.
2. The proposed changes are not in the best interest of the City
of Campbell.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of January, 1979, by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Campos, Meyer, Dickson, Pack, Vierhus,
Samuelson
NOES: Commissioners: Kasolas
ABSENT: Commissioners: None
