PC Res 1759RESOLUTION N0. 1759 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF PLANS, ELEVATIONS, DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE AND COND1110NS OF APPROVAL TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF FOUR SINGLE FAMILY HOMES AT 1300 E 1310 HARRIET AVENUE IN A P-D (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT/LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING DISTRICT. (APPLICATION OF PAUL E. FONTAINE b BARNES-FONTAINE DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, ZC 78-Z0.) After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application of Paul E. Fontaine and the Barnes- Fontaine Development Company for approval of plans, elevations, development schedule and conditions of approval for construction of four single -Family residences on property located at 1300 ~ 1310 Harriet Avenue, as per the application filed in the Office of the Planning Department, 75 N. Central Avenue, Campbell, California on November 8, 1978, and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents, and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the Planning Commission did find as follows: 1. That the proposed construction of four single-family residences would be compatible with the existing uses in the immediate area and would be compatible with the Land Use Element of the General Plan which indicates "low density residential". 2. This development is similar to recent approvals for zone changes to P-D for single-family residential developments. 3. The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such zone change, or be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective the recommended zone change.
