PC Res 1743RESOLUTION N0. 1743 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF PLANS, ELEVATIONS, DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE AND CON- DITIONS OF APPROVAL TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF 14 TOWNHOMES AT 633 W. HACIENDA AVENUE IN A P-D (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT/HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING DISTRICT. (APPLICATION OF MR. DON WILLIAMS, ZC 78-14). After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application of Mr. Don Williams for approval of plans, elevations, development schedule and conditions of approval for 14 townhomes on property located at 633 W. Hacienda Avenue, as per the application filed in the office of the Planning Department, 75 N. Central Avenue, Campbell, California, on September 20, 1978, and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents, and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the Planning Commission did find as follows: (1) That the proposed construction of 14 townhomes would be compatible with the existing uses in the immediate area and would be compatible with the Land Use Element of the General Plan which indicates "High Density Residential." (2) This development is similar to recent approvals for zone changes to P-D for townhouse developments. (3) The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such zone change, or be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City. The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto making effective the recommended zone change.
