BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING
AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE ELEPIENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
FROM PUBLIC, SEMI-PUBLIC TO LOW-MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL
FOR PROPERTY KNOWN AS 420 WEST CAMPBELL AVE. (GP 78-15).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed
City initiated amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Plan from
Public, Semi-Public to Low-Medium Density Residential for property known
as 420 W. Campbell Ave., and after presentation by the Planning Director,
proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning
Commission does find as follows:
1. The proposed Low-Medium Density land use would be compatible
with the existing and planned development.
2. The proposed changes are in the best interest of the city of
Campbell.
The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a Resolution recommending
that the City Council adopt the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
making effective the proposed amendments.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of September 1978 by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners: Campos, Dickson, Samuelson, Kasolas, Pack
