PC Res 1736RESOLUTION N0. 1736 PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA After notification and public hearing as specified by law on a proposed addition entitled Chaper 21.49, "Open Space Special Zoning Area" to the Campbell Municipal Code, and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents, and opponents, the hearing was closed (TA 78-5). After due consideration of all evidence presented and based upon the following findings, the Commission did determine that there was a significant need to add Chapter 21.49, entitled "Open Space Special Zoning Area" to the Campbell Municipal Code: 1. That the proposed addition will comply with Section 65910 of the State Government Code which requires cities to adopt an Open Space ordinance which is consistent with the local Open Space Plan. 2. That the proposed amendment will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort, or general welfare of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such proposed use, or be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or to the general welfare of the city. The Planning Commission does hereby recommend that the City Council adopt the ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" enacting the necessary legislation to make the proposed text amendment effective.
