BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING PREZONING OF PROPERTIES
UNDER PROCEEDINGS KNOWN AS ZC 78-10 TO P-D (PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT) FOR 595 AND 571 UNION AVENUE, AND M-1-S
(LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) FOR 808 MCGLtNCEY LANE, ZONING
DISTRICTS.
Whereas notification has been given and public hearing has been
held in the manner specified by law on the prezoning of property known
as 595 and 571 Union Avenue and 808 McGlincey Lane under proceedings
known as ZC 78-10 to P-D (Planned Development) and M-1-S (Light
Industrial) Zoning.
After presentation by the Planning Director, proponents, and
opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning
Commission did find as follows:
1. The proposed P-D (Planned Development) and M-1-S (Light
Industrial) Zoning would be compatible with the neighborhood.
2. The proposed zoning will not be detrimental to the health,
safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the
persons residing in the area or detrimental or injurious
to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the
general welfare of the city.
The Planning Commission hereby recommends that the City Council adopt
the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective this proposed
zoning upon final annexation of the properties involved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of August 1978 by the following roll call
vote:
