PC Res 1702RESOLUTION N0. 1702 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF PLANS, ELEVATIONS, DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A 7-UNIT TOWNHOUSE DEVELOPMENT AT 705 AND 725 W. HACIENDA AVENUE IN A P-D (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT/LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING DISTRICT (APPLICATION OF MR. DON WILLIAMS, ZC 78-5). After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application of Mr. Don Williams for approval of plans, elevations, development schedule and conditions of approval for a 7-unit townhouse development on property located at 705 and 725 W. Hacienda Avenue, as per the application filed in the office of the Planning Department, 75 North Central Avenue, Campbell, California on April 19, 1978 and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents, and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the Planning Commission did find as follows: 1. That the proposed construction of 7 townhouse units would be compatible with the existing uses in the immediate area and would be compatible with the Land Use Element of the General Pian which indicates "Low Density Residential." 2. This development is similar to recent approvals for zone changes to P-D for townhouse developments. 3. The proposed zone change will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such zone change, or be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the city. The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective the recommended zone change.
