COMMISSION RECOMMENDING

USE TO LOW-MEDIUM
CERTAIN AREA OF THE
(GP 78-11, UNION AVENUE
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed
City initiated amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Plan from
"High Density Residential" to "Low-Medium Density Residential" fora certain
area of the Union Avenue Area of the Campbell community, and after presentation
by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning
Commission does find as follows:
1. The proposed Low-Medium Density Residential land use would
be compatible with the existing development.
2. The proposed changes are in the best interest of the city of
Campbell.
The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a resolution recommending
that the City .Council adopt the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
making effective the proposed amendments.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of May 1978 by the following roll
call vote:
