PC Res 1698RESOLUTION N0. 1698 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMiSS10N RECOMMENDING AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM LOW-MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL LAND USE TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL LAND USE FOR CERTAIN AREAS OF THE SAN TOMAS AREA OF THE COMMUNITY. (GP 78-10) After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed City initiated amendments to the Land Use Element of the General Pian from "Low-Medium Density Residential" to "Low Density Residential" for certain areas of the San Tomas area of the Campbell community, and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission does find as follows: 1. The proposed Low Density Residential land use would be compatible with the existing development. 2. The proposed changes are in the best interest of the city of Campbell. The Planning Commission does hereby adopt a Resolution recommending that the City Council adopt the Ordinance attached hereto as Exhibit "A" making effective the proposed amendments.
